If you are looking for something with a moderate natural hold and lots of volume then our matte hair clay might be what you are after. Versatility is the name of the game with this product. Whether you are looking for slicked back or a natural messy style, we've got you covered. And because it's loaded full of ingredients that are great for your hair and scalp, you get a natural hair care product that actually does its job, and gives you a healthy head of hair without looking greasy.
We call it a natural hair clay because it's actually made with clays. Lots and lots of clay. Loaded in nutrients, clays have been used throughout history for body and hair and let me tell you, it works wonders on hair. We've opted to employ Rhassoul and Kaolin clays to work on the volume and health, and beeswax to help keep things in place.
No petroleum, no chemicals, and no questionable synthetic ingredients.
Everyone is different, so we completely understand that while some people like a nice scent from their hair care products, others do not. Bare Bones hair clay is an unscented product that hasn't been spiced up with essential oils. But make no mistake, Bare Bones doesn't compromise in its ability to give you great looking hair.
Although there are no added scents from the essential oils, Bare Bones does have a very light scent that comes from the natural oils, and wax.
Hand made in Halifax, Nova Scotia and designed with the big picture in mind. Our Hair Clay adds health, and reduces dandruff while letting you shape and style your way to perfect hair.
- INGREDIENTS: beeswax, rhassoul clay, ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, orbignya oleifera (babassu) seed oil, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, kaolin clay, vitis vinifera (grape) seed oil, elaeis guineensis (palm) oil, tocopherol (vitamin E)
DIRECTIONS: Scrape a small amount of clay into your palms to warm and melt it. Work into your hair from root to tip and style to get your desired look. We recommend applying it when your hair is still damp.
Tip 1: You can also just rub your fingertip across the top of the product until it starts to soften and you can use the softer worked potion instead of digging into the clay.
Tip 2: Put a very small amount of water on your free hand and rub your palms together to spread the product. For less hold and better spread you can add some water to the palm that has the clay in it and work it into a thinner mixture.
Run your hands through your hair ensuring you spread everything evenly throughout. Of course, everyone has different hair types, length and style preference so reapply until your desired result is achieved.
NOTE: Apply a small amount on a small section of skin. Test for allergens. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
For external use only.
